Dimsum refers to various traditional Cantonese-style steamed dishes typically served in small,
bite-sized portions prepared in bamboo steam baskets. It is populated from tea house in China and
has since taken up the name "yum cha."
Beyond the factual, Dimsum is togetherness. It's the bringing together of family members every
weekend morning. It's where friends meet friends and family meet family and strangers meet
strangers. It can even be translated to "so close to the heart."
